Swimmer attacked by great white shark in Del Mar on Sunday June 2nd, 2024. The attack happened at about 9:00 a.m. Del Mar Beaches were closed until 9:00 a.m. today, Tuesday June 4th. The swimmer is a 46-year-old man and he was taken to Scripps La Jolla for treatment. It is believed that his injuries are not fatal.
